Forced Hot Water Heating System
Hot water is a great carrier of heat. In the forced hot water system, fuel is used to heat fluid in a loop that is pumped in a closed loop from the furnace (sometimes to a holdg tank, out to the house’s radiators, and then back to the furnace. Inside the living quarters, there are thermostats, which measure the temperature, and when it falls below the programmed target temperature, a signal goes to the furnace and to zone valves that may be installed in the system.
