He explains how your cylinder should be lagged and the cylinder thermostat should not be over 60 degrees, your radiators should be hot from top to bottom and that a regular heating inspection is essential.
Colin goes on to describe how you boiler flame should be a strong blue flame and not look like a candle flame or be yellow and floppy — this can be serious and lead to Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
Check your water pressure on a sealed system is set to between 1 and 2 bar and that by turning your thermostat down by just 1 degree and can save you up to £60 per year.
